Jayne “The Sweet” Hart somehow knew that not taking a dive like she was supposed to would cause trouble but she just couldn’t let the big oaf take that last swing at her in the bare-knuckled boxing ring that would make his gangster boss happy. Leaping through dimensions of earths planes, Divinity Corp. had helped her make a lot of money as a boxing champ, and thinking of quitting the life was already forming in her mind. The boxer’s poison that caught the open wound on her face proved to be her downfall, but waking up in the medieval dungeon with a bunch of captive women threw her for an even bigger loop.

Ronen watched as his brother succumbed to the blonde paraded in front of him at the ceremony and then sat back and was stunned once again when the striking vixen standing in front of him walked up and declared him hers. Staking his claim on the brazen woman, he was more than confused when she set him back and let him know she would not willingly become his slave. Confused at her about face, Ronen returned to the banquet and drowned his confused mind with ale along with his brother. Returning to find Lady Jayne gone, Ronen must search not only the castle but also the deadly forest to find his new bride before their enemy does.

Jayne’s escape found her scrambling through an unknown realm all the while finding a mental connection with her husband thanks to a genetic anomaly which found that he was the one in a billion chance of being her true destiny. Having an enhanced blood system and body parts thanks to her near death as a child, the nano now living within Ronen’s body gifted them both with carnal visions of each other while apart. Now the fight is on between the two as they battle their own desires for each other and cannibal creatures, the caniba, that have Lady Jayne on the menu. The two very strong willed and determined lovers must now find a way to overcome their differences and their visions for their future as they face the realities of the present in Staria and the choices they must make.

In the second of the Divinity Warrior series, Ms. Pillow again gifts us with a strong and capable woman who shows determination in her decisions to follow her heart and her mind by loving the sexy and devoted man who has claimed her. This series is an example of true love at first sight between courageous women and the warrior men who love them.
