Today’s Questions

2) & 3) I can’t answer yet.
I will get working on the other things, including going over to Absolute Write to invite everyone over here!!!

Think if I woke up in a strange body with no idea of the woman’s history, I’d be convinced it was a dream. Then all the fantasy books I’ve read would come to mind and I’d try to solve the mystery of who the woman was and why was I in her particular body. After the initial freak out of course! *L*
Haven’t read this one yet, but have heard so many good things about it that it’s on my must-read list!

1) I haven’t read this either, but it sounds very interesting. And I’m pretty sure if I woke up in a strange body I would be freaking out that I had no idea about the history of it, but once I was done freaking out I would try to figure out some of the girl’s past.
2,3) can’t answer cause I haven’t read it.

Hi Kelly! Hi everyone!
I just bought this book and I can’t wait to read it. The reviews have been great! Check out Carol’s BBB review of this book on the link above:o) To answer one of the questions If I woke up in another person’s body I think I would be totally freaked out (pinching my arm to make sure I wasn’t dreaming)at first when I found out that it wasn’t my reflection in the mirror I was looking at but then I would kinda think it was cool! Come on, how often does that happen! lol!

Haven’t read it yet but it is in my TBR pile. I think I would be pretty upset to be in someone else body, unless they were really hot.
My son(at age 6)actually won a writing contest where the prompt was “I woke up this morning and looked in the mirror and screamed…” He decided that he had turned into a lizard. He told how everyone that had saw him had reacted throughout the day and how he finally ran off and hide in a hole. He ended it with it all being a dream(pretty good as he wasn’t of the age to watch Dallas)and he was his same old, good old self(this was a phrase we teased him with for ages).

Hmm, I have not read this book yet. Sounds interesting I think I will order it.
If I woke up in a stranger’s body. I would be freaked but would not pinch myself…it hurts! :whine: If its a dream, oh well. But I would look at the reflection and see how I look like…and then think about the person I am inhabiting. Probably go to the nearest police station and find out who I am. that would be tricky though. Then, I would wonder how and why did it happen. Magic powers..cool!

If I woke in a strangers body the first thing I’d do is faint, then wake up and have a WTF moment, then I would proceed to find my answers- and kick some butt to do so
[Reply]
I’d freak out of course if I woke up in a stranger’s body!

1. If I woke up in another persons body I think I would first check to make sure I was still a girl because being another girl would be hard but be a guy would really freak me out.

I haven’t read this book yet, but if I were to wake up in someone else’s body, I know for sure that I’d freak out and panic at first. My later reaction would much depend on how the new body looks, if it’s hotter and sexier than my current one, then it wouldn’t be so bad:)

1. Answer & Comment
1) If I woke up in a stranger’s body my first reaction would be fear of not being able to be myself! But I would try and make the best of the situation, and try to find out as much as I could about her.
As for # 2&3, I couldn’t answer them cause I hadn’t heard of the books before, but I really like the description of her bad angel in the BBB review summary, and Evy seems cool.

I just got done reading this book. The book was different enough to really catch my interest (loved the cover as well). Evy was a pretty cool main character, although I’m not as sure about Wyatt. The 3 day deadline really gave the pacing a nice kick I think. The Vamps were cool (I also really loved the halfies thing), but I’d love to see a bit more delving into the nature of their society. As for cool monsters, I think the sprites were my fav, although I always like Gargoyles - hope we see more of them. The Triad idea was pretty interesting as well, but I want to know more about the council controlling them.
Overall I really enjoyed the book, and definitely recommending it to friends and family, and will be looking forward to others in the series. Its always a good sign when the first thing you do upon completing the book is go to Amazon to see when the next one will be out.
