Sara Patel and Reed Mercier are graduate students competing for the Montera Grant to conduct ghost research. Sara is a serious student and wants that grant to gain understanding that will help people. She thinks Reed wants it to make a name for himself so he can get a high-paying corporate job. There is only one grant, so there can be only one winner - but hey, it is Halloween so anything is possible.

With Some Like It Haunted, the Moira Rogers writing team delivers a real treat of a story tricked out with magic, a haunted mansion, ghosts, a medium, a possession, an exorcism, a smart heroine, a yummy hunk, and a hot tryst. Treat yourself to this well-written, entertaining read.

Ooh, I love ghosts! I think I love everything paranormal. I’ve never heard of this book before either. Looks like I need to pull my head out of the sand…

This book has several elements that I love in a book - magic, haunted mansion, attractive hero/heroine. Check, check, check.

Oh this sounds exciting and classic. A ghost story with some romance mixed in? If the writing is atleast decent, then you can’t go wrong. Adding it to my wishlist now!

It does sound very interesting! Ah, sigh, I’m going to have an even larger TBR pile. Ghosts are enjoyable, and the people who try to prove their exsisitence can be a wonderful accompaniment to the book.

Uh Oh all the haunted supernatural things you need for ghost. A fight over who gets the grant, whether to get a great paying job or to help people. Well let’s see who wins this fight.

Hmmm… I wonder if she’s right about Reed–or if there’s a traditional hero lurking behind that me-me-me exterior!

This book had EVERYTHING!! and more! I so hope for more of this theme each year with the Hallowed line. I really look forward to October and all the paranormals and this was so good to read a ghost related one which I don’t see as much of.

All right, you’ve sold me. This is going straight to the TBR list. A romance set amongst a ghost hunt, come on, you gotta love that!
