Kit Bauman has it bad for her best friend, Jackson Knight. Jackson is absolute perfection in every way. Just being around him makes her knees weak, but after six months of being “just friends”, Kit doesn’t see that ever changing. Adding to her frustration is her scheduled appearance on a national morning talk show. Kit has co-authored a book, but her partner is the one who usually handles all public appearances. He also has a habit of getting into trouble, and his latest escapade has left him sitting in a jail cell in Greece, so Kit has to take over on the talk show. The thought of Jackson makes her weak in the knees, but the thought of speaking in front of a television camera leaves her positively paralyzed. Everything changes when Kit, seeking shelter from a rainstorm, finds herself in an Irish knick knack shop with a salesman who bears an uncanny resemblance to a leprechaun. He convinces her that she must buy a pretty green stone and that by kissing it, she will have anything she desires. Kissing the stone leads to an unbelievable night with Jackson, but are the feelings between them real or is it just the kissing stone?

Tielle St. Clare does a marvelous job of weaving together a sweet but sexy story about what can happen when you believe in magic. Kit finds the strength and confidence to do and say things she only would have imagined after kissing the stone, but is it magic or just coincidence? The sex scenes are H*O*T with a capital “H” and, I must admit, left me blushing. This is an enjoyable quick read that will not only make you smile but leave you a little breathless as well.
