Very Much Alive by Dana Marie Bell

According to the Norse myth, Baldur was killed by Loki. But, what happens if the myth is not true? What if there is more to it than what meets the eyes? Dana Marie Bell explores the “what if” in “Very Much Alive” with a twisted plot and marvelous characters - not to mention gorgeous hunks, lots of gods and goddess and magic in the air.
After years (or should I say, centuries?) of running, they are now tired and ready to fight back. When Logan (Loki) fell centuries ago for Kiran (Baldur), their hearts and souls bonded for good. They needed each other as they needed air, and no one ever interested both of them until they met Jordan.
Jordan’s first impression of them: “wow, bad boys alert”. A few minutes later, it changes to: “they are definitely crazy! Who would believe both of them are the myth itself?” But Kiran happily shows her his godly power in hope that she will not faint and die of heart attack. But when she gets to know them, not only does she believe and trust them, she also protects them from danger. What to do when a mere mortal saves two gods? Throw her onto your shoulder, bring her back home and keep her there for good! The only problem is how to convince her they want her because they love her and not because of the guilt.
Though I got a little bit confused at the beginning of the tale, the story flows smoothly. I fell in love with the characters, especially Logan for his loyalty and Kiran for his godly powers and blonde, bad boy looks. It’s really a tough choice when all the characters are lovable and easy to fall in love with.
