Double Penetration by L.A. Day
Grey Hawthorne is a lonely vampire. He was turned by a gypsy woman named Selena about two centuries ago without his consent.
Shannon McNeal is a woman that feels as if she will never be loved for the simple fact of not being able to bear children. She survived cancer but does not know if she can handle that type of rejection.
Grey walks through the streets one night and sees a woman being attacked by two men. He intervenes and saves her. Grey takes her back to his home and lets her rest, or that is his excuse. He wants her in his bed permanently but why would she want him as a mate for eternity? He can only offer the comforts that money can buy but he cannot offer her a family of her own. A threat to Shannon makes him decide to offer the choice to Shannon of staying with him forever by turning her.
From the moment these two set eyes on each other they are gone for one another. It was hilarious with Grey teasing Shannon and the sexual banter between the two. I caught myself laughing out loud quit a few times. It not only had the humor but also the aww moments too. Those two together make a great book and this one had both in spades.
