Charlotte is a widow who came to Egypt with her brother to escape the oppression of London society, not realizing her brother has already sold her freedom to pay off his debts. As she explores Egypt, she longs to be as free as the mysterious lynx that follows their camp. When the guide takes an interest in her, she casts aside the rules of proper behavior and lets the woman inside awaken.

Sethmet is the lynx; he is a shapeshifter. The Pharaoh gifted his family with the ability so they could guard his tomb. For generations, they have done just that. But these English tourists are determined to find new treasures. Is Charlotte part of their scheme or is she destined to be his mate? The only way to find out is to stay close.

“Lynx to the Pharaoh” is as hot as the desert sand. Forbidden love and ancient curses mingle as the values of regency London and Egypt clash. A truly enjoyable read.
