Witches Anonymous by Misty Evans
Amy made an oath that she would no longer use magic, no matter how much the gorgeous hunk Lucifer (who prefers to be called Luc) tries to tempt her back into using it. She resorts to Witches Anonymous, a 12 step program. When Adam walks into the wrong room, Amy is lost, the perfect cure for getting over the devil that ails her. However, as luck would have it, Amy gets caught in the middle between Satan and a manipulative angel who is using her sister to try and take over Eden. Will Amy be able to resist temptation, save the world, and help Adam?
I give this book 4 1/2 tombstones. I thought it was a really cute story. It was entertaining to watch as Amy struggled to resist Lucifer’s lure and then watch her go and fall for the original bad boy, Adam. Its hard to guess whether or not she went from the frying pan into the fire with that one. The story has some diverting twists and turns within it. I love Misty Evan’s writing style. I thought “Witches Anonymous” was engaging, original and amusing. It had just the right splash of romance in it too. If you’re looking for a pleasant diversion, then check out “Witches Anonymous”.
Book Excerpt: “Amy Atwood is a witch. Not the harm-none kind…the Satan-worshipping, devil-made-me-do-it kind. But after catching Lucifer in a particularly wicked hex act with her goodie-two-shoes Wiccan sister, Amy does what every self-respecting witch would do. She pops a Dove chocolate in her mouth, ends her affair with the devil, and swears an oath never to use magic again.
She wants to be normal. Human. Even if it means no more fun—and she’s looking for a nice, normal guy to complement her new lifestyle. And ice-cream-loving firefighter Adam Foster looks like perfect hero material.
Lucifer, however, isn’t about to be nice about letting her go. Stalked by Satan, manipulated by the angel Gabriel—and surprised by Adam’s true identity—Amy finds herself up to her black hat in trouble of Biblical proportions…”

A 12 step program for witches, sounds funny. 41/2 Tombstones, pretty good.
