While space was not a major issue with a 4 gig SD card, I still would rather have the space on the device. Read more…

Release Overload - Brought to you by Off the Fang!
This edition of Off the Fang brought to you by Buyer’s Remorse: wherein you are deeply saddened that you can’t give every book in the world a home. (This may lead to the over-consumption of chocolate, the direct infusion of caffeine into your bloodstream, and the gnashing of teeth.)
One of my (horrible OCDs) tasks at Bitten by Books is to compile a list of new releases (which I did anyway). This allows us (me) to make sure (prepare my wallet) we have all the new bright and shiny books for you fabulous (seriously) readers. In doing so, I’ve been concerned for (slightly pissed off at) the publishing world.

Sparks by Laura Bickle
Just as its predecessor in the series did, the marvelous Sparks hooks the reader from its very first page and refuses to let go. When the book begins, fire investigator Anya works the scene of an extremely unusual case in which a man seems to have spontaneously combusted. An artifact collector, Bernard has many interesting items to which a whiff of magick clings, and Anya also senses that something even stronger has been at work in the hoarder’s home. Read more…

PLEASE NOTE: The contest portion of the Jeanne Stein event is now over. Winners will be chosen at a later date and contacted via email.
BBB: Can you please share with us how old you were when you wrote your first story?
JS: I’m not sure how old I was when I wrote my first story. My mom passed away a few years ago and my sis and I were going through her stuff and found a page of story I’d written on yellow foolscap tucked into an old address book—from elementary school. So it’s safe to say, I’ve been at it awhile!
