Tessa Gray travels to London to meet her brother, Nathaniel. Two women known as the Dark Sisters greet her upon arrival, promising they were sent by her brother. These vivid visuals carry over into the erotic scenes making the passionate passages jump off the page.

Writer Jacqueline Brandson’s latest novel was almost done — she only had to finish the murder scene where her victim was watching a slasher film in which the girl gets killed, and upon the climax of the movie the character finds herself a victim of a garrote around her neck. Finishing up the scene and taking a final drought of wine, Jacqueline finds herself succumbing to the death she just put to paper.
