Twas the night before I was to meet my friend and fellow reviewer, Virginia, for the Romantic Times Book Convention aka RT and I had realized I had yet to pack. I admit to being a total enigma at times. Like the fact that I have OCD and make lists and checklists while I am also a major procrastinator and usually screw myself over waiting for the very last minute to do what I need to do.

Things are finally going fine for Joey. She is out of the Army, is a college freshman and has a job in a lab with the hottest science geek ever. If only she did not see strange things happening, on campus. Her roommate for instance, used to be wild, carefree and colorful, and out of the wild blue yonder, turned into little miss Stepford co-ed, speaking properly and wearing only proper clothing. What is going on with the world when people decide to randomly turn into blazer-wearing super-geeks?

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, pelagic means living or occurring in the open sea. To the Undersea Folk however, a Pelagic is a large meeting called by a majority of the… well, Undersea Folk. And without so much as a how-de-do for twelve (long) months from the High Prince Artur, who claimed to want her, Fred finds herself summoned by the High King to attend the Pelagic gathering in the waters of the Cayman Islands.
