As the only child of the angel Jonah, the Prime Legion Commander, and Anna, a mermaid and daughter of Arianne, Alexis already has the definition of “unique” oozing through her pores. She is not only a merangel who was born with both a tail and wings, but as all the daughters of Arianne receive a special gift, hers was the gift (or curse) of being one of the most sensitive empaths the Goddess ever put on earth. Meaning she feels every ounce of pain, hurt, and emotion that everyone else may be feeling, maybe even more. And it doesn’t necessarily help that her angelic half makes her almost irresistible to be around. (more…)

“Golden light edged my body as I stood before the long, gilded mirror. I spread a palm over the wrinkles marring the smooth run of the sheer silk gown. A wry smile pulled at my mouth. The practically transparent black silk revealed curves and planes of very bare skin. The gown left very little to the imagination, just as it was meant to. I straightened my shoulders and lifted my chin. Being a reiver, the fertile daughter of a queen, it was my time to hunt down a mate. Any way I could.”

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, pelagic means living or occurring in the open sea. To the Undersea Folk however, a Pelagic is a large meeting called by a majority of the… well, Undersea Folk. And without so much as a how-de-do for twelve (long) months from the High Prince Artur, who claimed to want her, Fred finds herself summoned by the High King to attend the Pelagic gathering in the waters of the Cayman Islands. Doctor Fredrika Bimm (seriously though, call her “Fred”) is a very unique individual. She is half human and half mermaid but don’t let images from Disney or long deceased Danish authors with a penchant for sad endings fool you. For a mermaid, she is still a rather weird individual. (more…)

Fredrika Bimm (but please just call her “Fred”) is exhausted. Sure, leave it to the King of the Undersea Folk to think her to be the best candidate to act as liaison between the mer-people and humans. Her! Grumpy. Grouchy. Does-not-like-people, Fred. So what if she is the only half mermaid/half human hybrid currently in existence? Did anyone catch the “does not like people” part? (more…)

Brianna Winston-Beaufort (better known as “Bree”) is not what anyone would call a typical attorney. Then again, it could also be because she does not take on the usual clients. Her clients, so far at least, are already dead. Yes, dead. Deceased. No longer in the land of the living. And yet, they still require Bree’s help as a lawyer while facing an entirely different and everlasting judgment.

If Lynxsander Dackelov (Lynx for short), does not see another woman in his life, he will be content. They are such selfish creatures who have used and abused him to the point that even the scent of desire has no effect on his manhood whatsoever. None. And for a Zetithian, a race where the men are known to give pleasure beyond all others after smelling a woman‘s desire, Lynx feels like he isn’t even a whole man. (more…)
