Ghosts of Memories by Barb Hendee

****½

Eleisha and her band have had a lull in their searches when, suddenly, Wade discovers something that makes him think that there might be another in Seattle. On the spur of the moment, the crew drives there, but when they make contact, the vamp tells them never to contact him again. Startled, Eleisha has to rethink her plan and how foolish it might have been to set out without knowing more.

Christian has been on his own, on the run and hiding from Julian, since Julian began his purge of vampires all those many years ago, and no one has ever caught on to him. Suddenly, this wisp of a girl appears and wants him to join her and her cadre of vampires and other paranormals. Christian realizes, however, that Eleisha could become the perfect companion to him…if he can just turn her away from her friends.

Ms. Hendee has again handed us a superb story. This is the end of this set of stories, but hopefully not the last we will hear of Eleisha and her cadre of friends on a mission to help vamps and humans live together. This story pits Eleisha against the most dangerous vamp she has yet to meet, and she does a superb job of being true to herself as well as the vision that has led her these past several years.

A great addition to any library, I would suggest this book, this whole series, to anyone who enjoys a great vampire story.

One Response to Ghosts of Memories by Barb Hendee

      1. A well-written review of what appears to be an interesting vampire romance. I enjoy both reading and writing paranormal fiction and look forward to reading this book.
