Dandy takes his job very seriously. He is in charge of checking Santa’s list of nice and naughty people and making sure they get the correct gifts when the big guy takes his world wide trip on Christmas Eve. When Dandy comes across Sophie’s name, he realizes she has been extra nice and truly deserves a very special gift.

When Sandy finds a present under her Christmas tree, she is surprised but assumes that it was a gift from her neighbor. When she opes it and finds a little blue fuzzy “dustbunny”, she figures she will ask about it in the morning, welcomes the little thing into her home and goes off to bed. She then awakes to find a very handsome, very naked man in bed with her. To say the least, Sophie is going to have one heck of a Christmas this year.

“Sophie’s Present” is a fun short story. Keeping in the growing Gingersnaps tradition this story is well developed and delightfully detailed, even with it only being 27 pages long. Anne Kane does a good job of building her characters and working in some truly steamy erotic scenes. All in all, this was a fun read with a great premise that could be developed even more. Who knows what Nikolie’s next exploits will be.
