Chaos ensues in the Oval Office, and the sexiest man she has ever laid eyes on ends up floating on the ceiling. Walking out of the room with all the heads of state, it was harder to believe that now the safety of the vampire world now was laid at her feet as Gregori promised their allegiance to the US government, but with it came the stipulation that Abby had all the power to say yes or no based upon one night out with the immortal playboy.

Gregori was supposed to be the non-threatening vampire, one of the most powerful vamps alive for one so young that had never bitten a mortal or been anything but bottle-fed. How did things get so out of hand? Now that plans A, B and C were officially thrown out the window, he had to settle things down with both the vampires who were dealing with the mess Corky made with her YouTube video of the last battle and his own desire for the sexy scholar who needed his help to save her mother from deteriorating any more.

A great cast of characters that are both sexy and smart, the vampires and shifters families that make up the employees of Romatech and their spouses are funny, intelligent, sexy, dangerous and devoted to their loves and to their friends. This book brought true love to Gregori, the notorious playboy that some insinuated was gay because he was the best dressed and coiffed vamp of them all despite his reputation of a love ’em and leave ’em player. I was very happy that he found his happily ever after. Abby was not just book smart, she was sassy, flirty and the perfect fit for the sexy vamp. I loved their story, their adventure and their ultimate path, but the introduction of a new nemesis and their ultimate face-off with him left me with a few too many questions to make it perfect, although it was very close. Kerrelyn continues to keep this series fresh with new characters and dangers that will hopefully keep this series in demand for a long time.
