Join us on 8/8 with author Jim Butcher for a Guest Appearance, chat and contest. Jim will start answering questions around 12:00 pm Central Daylight Time until 6:00 pm. Jim will be talking about his newest book in the Dresden Files series Ghost Story. I expect there will be some spoilers so be prepared.

My daughter saw Jim at the Harvard Coop last week and got him to autograph Ghost Story for me. Also had some cool pictures taken with Jim! I will stop by tomorrow to say hi.
I am RSVPing, tho I note that it’s going to be hard for folks outside CST and who work to make it – and that unfairly cuts down on contest entries. I will def try to make it – Jim Butcher is one of my top five authors – but the contest rules need to be rethought.

Kind of pointless to sign up once over 50 people have RSVP’d with more on the way. There’s no way everyone will get their questions or remarks read or answered.

That is so cool! I am almost 50, and I have been an voracious fiction consumer since elementary school. Harry Dresden is one of my all time favorite characters in all of literature, and Butcher is one of my all time favorite authors. I will attend as long as it is in cyberscpace. If this is a physical event, well, it depends on where it is.

Hello from Massachusetts! Is there anyway of getting Michael back into the picture? He & Harry made a great team. Also, what are the chances of getting a “prequel” to cover Harry’s past? I would love to know about his relationship with his uncle, and other info on what happened in his life before “Storm Front”. And… What are the chances of you visiting New England?
