Trish is living many a girl’s dream. She is a wedding planner, engaged to Russell. College sweethearts, they became engaged after he finished Med School. He was handsome, and on his way to becoming a great doctor. However, he held Trish to high standards. Anything done to interrupt his time never went unnoticed and caused annoyance. The night she called, finding herself laying in a cemetery, in all black did not sit well with Russell — it disrupted the basketball game. He did pick her up, though he was noticeably disgusted at her hooker-type appearance. Once she composed herself she left the car. Of course he was waiting on the couch with his pants open. This was the condition. Only this time it would be under different conditions, which neither of them had control over.
Eric saved Russell and Trish. He lured her from her feast. His sudden appearance, though confusing seems so surreal. Suddenly she finds herself a Vampire Queen. Eric is her Loyal Servant. Quickly he convinces her that being the new Queen, she must pack up and leave her life behind. Her Collective is awaiting her arrival. They are desperate to meet their new Queen, and the mate she chooses as King. She can feel his embedded desire and lust for her. One look form him and her heart instantly skips a beat. She certainly never had that with Russell. His voice whispered desires within her mind. His voice alone was enchanting. The things his mind, and body did to her drove her wild. A lust infused moment kicked her back to reality. Panic flooded through her and she ran – with only a sheet wrapped around her.
Remy, the King of an adjoining territory, is called upon to track Trish down. Finding her was easy – on the eyes wrapped in a sheet. The rugged, bearded gentleman was just that, though he ached for her. He quickly befriended her, explained the collective ways and traditions. He also explained the need for the Queen to choose her mate as king. Knowing that she needed to return to her collective immediately he watched her drive away, all the while wishing for her to choose him as her mate.
Chaos developed within the Collectives, Eric consumed her thoughts, causing her fear, to choose him. It was an order. She decided to ride out to discuss Eric with Remy. Remy, very traditional, invited Trish to meet him for dinner at his lodge. He offered her a suite in which laid the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. Clear instructions for her to wear it to dinner that evening. A fairy tale opened slowly in front of her as she prepared for her evening dinner. The look on Remy’s face when he saw her stole her heart. At that precise moment her body was internally attacked telepathically. Her body thrown right across the room. Eric was going to teach her a lesson.
Remy and Trish, were quickly overcome with ongoing assaults. Confused as Eric was not as high a rank as they were, he assaulted them both with such dark magic. He was killing her slowly. Remy had to find a way to stop him before he killed Trish.
