and my favourite character is Bones! and i have SOOO many favourite scenes with him, from the first time he beats the crap out of Cat, and when he confesses he’s in love with her in Halfway to the Grave and she doesn’t believe him, etc, but i’d have to say my very favourite scene is from One Foot In the Grave, where he’s up against Ian but is first pretending to be WITH him, and then all the badness goes down with Cat and he says that she’s his wife, and marries here there on the spot. I love the bit where Cat just goes “for all eternity? Bound to you? yep, sounds good to me!” and puts her hand in his. im probably not describing it right (which means i’ve got to read it again!) but i love that bit. if it were ONLY that easy to score a hot vampire as a husband!
i also love the part where Bones just magically shows up in Cat’s friends Denise’s wedding. just wham! HELLO!

My favourite character has to be Bones. While I do like Cat, she frustrated me a great deal in the last book. Also, despite myself I do like Justina. Yes, she is a huge vampire hater, but I think she secretly loves them and wants to be like them. I think if she sees Cat’s dad, she may go crazy with lust. :p I may be the only one who feels this way though. My favourite scene has to be in the first book, where Bones brings Cat into the cave and teaches her how to fight.

My favorite scene is in Halfway to the Grave, when Bones keeps Cat “hostage” because he wants to know who she’s working for. When he explains about following her after she took down the vampire that he’s been going after for months and “whistling a jaunty tune”, that just cracked me up. I know that most people will say that Bones is their fave character, but he’s so “fleshed” out how can he not be? For a vampire, he’s very much in tune with his human side and really doesn’t like to be wronged.

Favorite character/scene/and which books it’s from? Easy! Cat is my favorite character because she’s just screwed-up enough to love, especially in my favorite scene from Halfway to the Grave when Bones tells her to meet her next mark at a bar. He tells her the mark goes by the name Crispin and naturally has brown hair. When she gets there and sees him…*sigh*…so wonderful!

I have too many fav scenes to want to pick just one (I’ll probably jumble them up), but the second page of Halfway to the Grave made me pick up the book and buy it. It’s where Cat’s been pulled over by the cop & he’s wandered to the back of her truck… “Whatcha got back there?” Oh, nothing. A dead body under some bags and an ax. How could you not pick up the book after that??

I just joined Blood Bank as Alana Joli Abbott–I’d been meaning to since Stacia’s post! It looks like a great community site. (More contest entry probable as I think about Jeaniene’s characters…)
my fave HAS to be bones and my fave scene is actually the scene in halfway to the grave when Bones is trying to desensitize ( sp ) Cat to the dirty talk…idk but it always sticks out in my head as just a very funny scene…maybe it’s cause i would be the same way lol
My favorite Night Huntress character is Cat! I think she’s totally badass and isn’t the damsel in distress that we so commonly see in romance novels. She’s a very strong and capable woman and her sarcasm doesn’t hurt
I love her even more because she’s from Ohio which is where I’ve been born and raised! I have so many favorite scenes… I love the training in book 1, the ending of book 2 is amazing (“by my blood” is the name of the LJ comm I started for Cat/Bones), and I love Chapter 32 of book 2 (of course!!) 
“Once you go dead, no one’s better in bed” is my favorite line. And Bones being defensive about others calling Cat Kitten always makes me giggle.

my favorite character has got to be Bones, Jeanine’s books were the first vampire books I’ve read. Bones personality jumped out at me immediately and ever since then I’ve wanted a vampire boyfriend.
I have two absolute favorite scenes. My first one is in One foot in the Grave, when Bones tells Cat why he had her take off her undies to hunt vamps. The second one is where Cat throws Bones in the closet when her mom comes over.

My favorite character from the Night Huntress series is Cat, i think that she is just amazing. She is a hard worker, toatlly bueatiful and she totally got Bones wrapped around her finger, lol. One of my favorite scenes from the books is in Halfway to the Grave when Cat visits a graveyard to talk to a ghost and gets drunk while trying to get important information, and then Bones ends up carrying her home.

Now as to a favorite character, well that would be Bones, but picking a favorite scene is difficult. The one coming to mind though is in book 1 when Bones takes Cat to a nightclub to meet a specific someone. And then Bone turns out to be that someone. I thought it was a great scene and loved how he caught Cat unaware and got her to see him outside of just their working relationship.

Well, I cant wait to read At Graves end, and I would have to say my favorite character would have to be Bones. I’m not sure if it’s the brittish accent or the powerful being that he is. but I just love him to death! My Favorite scene out of the books, would have to be in Halfway To The Grave, at the beginning when Bones chains Cat to the wall and she’s just arguing with him. I love the conflict betwen to the two of them!

I love J. Frost, she is a terrific author! The Night Huntress series rocks and it just keeps getting better! To have a Arc would be like…ok imagine Snegal and his “My Precious” from Lord of the Rings! lol

Favorite scene is their first meeting in HTTG. I especially love Cat’s first line to Bones: “Want to f**k?” Doesn’t get any better than that, IMO. LOL

cat is my favorite character she such a kickass heroine. Though I like bones Cat is one of my favorite heroines. and I love the scene where they first meet.

My favorite scene from One Foot in the Grave has to be when Bones and Cats mom have a “talk” thier agrument was so funny, and i just love Bones! he is another great character.

Bones is my favorite character. My favorite scene is in One Foot in the Grave. It’s the morning after she tells Bones she’d be disappointed if she weren’t red with embarassment from the night before -specifically when he says “the rubies in your cheeks are payment enough”. It’s been over 6 months since I read either of the first books, but that line stuck with me. (And now I hope I’ve quoted it correctly. lol)
Of course, the “Once you go dead, no one’s better in bed” line sorta sticks with you, too. Hilarious.
So many, but one that stands out is Chapter 32, way hot!!

My favorite character is BONES and my favorite scene is in Halfway to the Grave when Bones has to get Cat to stop blushing. He holds her wrists and makes her say all sorts of erotic things. It does help her in the long run but Bones really enjoyed it!
sadieloree sent me to help her with this drawing, but after reading the book descriptions, I’m now going to have to pick up the book myself! This is excellent.
The cover of the books look hot! I have never heard of the author but these books look great! I wonder how the author creates a character that is half vamp.

My fav character is Cat of course. The first scene in the second book hooked me in, but the funniest was when Bones admits the truth about the no underwear hunting vampires thing.

1. My favorite character is Bones. Although it’s very difficult to pin down any scene that is my favorite, I must say Jeaniene writes the best vampire bite ever.
And I love when Bones gets pleased at Cat’s jealousy in “Halfway to the Grave” over Francesca. Not because he’s just being a man, but because he says it means she’s acting like a territorial vampire, and it shows how much she truly cares for Bones.

Great series By Jeaniene Frost. I read both Halfway to the Grave & One foot in the Grave recently after I had surgery. Enter me in this contest please.
Bones would be my favorite Character and my favorite part of One Foot in the Grave would be when Cat fights the Ghoul Grendal. I will not say any more than that in case someone has not read the second book yet. Thanks
Oh, goodie! I love Jeaniene Frost! Okay,well to answer the question – I love Bones. His accent, the way he treats Cat and they way that they belong together is almost scary.
But my fave scene from the first book, is the rescue at the end, with Bones. He beats everyone up but yet gets left in the end. It’s sad, but it happens. But then in the next book he came back for her at the wedding. That was too cute the way he snuck back into her life and now I can’t wait for the next book!

Another character that i love is Cat’s mom, she is great! I have a favorite part when Cat and her mom (justina) were at cats frineds wedding and Cats mom saw Bones again and how she got so upset. the whole wedding was a another one of my favorite parts of the bokk One Foot in the Grave.

Please enter me. I have been waiting for this book since I finished One Foot In the Grave. While I love both books and while Cat and Bones are both great characters. My favorite is Bones and even with some of his great scenes in Halfway to the Grave while training Cat. There are scenes with him I absolutely love in One Foot in the Grave. I loved how he was not only at the wedding but in the wedding party. There are just so many great scenes between the two.

Ok one of my favorite parts in Halfway to the Grave is when Cat frist meets bones and he rejects her, and she goes to the bathroom to check herself to see if there was anything in her teeth, and she smells under her arm to make sure she is ok. lol i luaghed at that part. I love both Cat and Bones!

My favorite character is Bones- he is such a dynamic guy and I just love his sense of loyalty and his level of honesty. My favorite part is in One Foot In The Grave, chapter 32, to be exact. The scene is definitely risque but in no way just a token sex scene. It shows the depths of trust between Cat and Bones. One of the great things about both books is the sarcasm and humor- each book has this rhythm that makes reading so much fun!

My favourite Character is Spade… cant take Bones I know what an Aussie/Brit hybrid accent sounds like and it is a turn off… though I must admit thanks to my friend Raven.. Bones does give the best bite and he does swagger off the pages… but Spade is cute and funny without the icky accent – My favourite scene in the book is the HAWT can we say AMEN… scene where Bones and Cat are having the “We can do better than them” sex scene… in One foot in the Grave.. =)

My favorite part was in book 2 when Bones sexed up Cat in the upstairs bedroom and whoever was in the house heard and the neighbores next door also. Awesome scene!
I just finished One Foot in the Grave, and I’m practically salivating for At Grave’s End!
My favorite character is Bones. I just love his confidence and how he shows is love for Cat. My favorite scene is in the second book when Cat and Bones break the bed. That whole scene was so tasteful and sexy. It was extremely well written. I don’t normally enjoy erotic fiction, or read sex scenes just to read them, but that was awesome. Maybe it was because the love they have for each other shows. That’s my favorite thing about them as a couple.
Both in One foot in the Grave and intoduced in Halfway to the Grave, is another one of my favorite characters, Spade. the part in Halfway to the Grave when Spade meets Cat for the frist time and she pins him to the dirt for and then he critzes her for her bad manners. lol so funny!

My head jerked around and I shot him an annoyed look. Oh, I was going to enjoy this, all right.
“It’s Cat,” I repeated firmly. “Cat Raven.”
“Whatever you say, Kitten Tweety.”
It just tickled me
I read the reviews. They are nicely thought out and full of just enough info to make you want to read to know more. One of the best things I like about the series is that we discover new things about her just as she does about herself. I lke that style of writing, it dosen’t just infer things.
My favorite character in the Night Huntress series is definitely Bones. I love the scene in One Foot in the Grave when Bones and Kat reunite. That sounds sappy, but I really like that part.
