A quickie Halloween love-story, this is a fun little short-story with a clever trio of characters and a bit of Bewitched old-style witchcraft. A healer-witch happens across a man who may be the love of her life, but it will take some real convincing to get her to accept a mortal as a lover. Nevertheless, her crafty grandmother is there to help her find her way.

This is a cute story and not bad for its length. Bonatch seems to have a nice universe in place for her tales, and this is a good one – heavy on plot, without taking away from the “sweetness” of it with erotica.

As a complete aside, I’m usually moderately impressed with most of the cover art on the books I review, but I had to say, the Gothic imagery on the front of this one was absolutely gorgeous, and I’d like to especially compliment the designer.
