Ever since Carolyn Bennett saw “dead” Bruce Warren’s portrait, she has been enamored (you can even say borderline obsessed). There is just something about him that fascinated her. With the help of his grandmother’s wedding ring, she is able to see, feel, and touch him. Soon, they are having stolen moments spent with each other. Unbeknownst to them, someone has been watching closely, someone who wants him to stay trapped. But now, Carolyn’s life is in danger. They have to find a way to free Bruce before someone kills her.

I enjoyed this novella immensely. Amanda Sidhe is definitely one of the authors I will watch from now on. And, if you like sizzling hot sex, “Beyond the Veil” has it. Plus, it is certainly romantic. It might be short, but the story is complete, and the resolution at the end is satisfying. I highly recommend this novella.
